I feel most alive when in the mountains, by a fjord, by the ocean, when listening to trees, when teaching, learning, and connecting with others walking this path. I’ve been called an “inspiratress” by my students and clients.
I’m a lifelong learner, profoundly curious, and committed to growth. I hold two master’s degrees (special education and art therapy) and a PhD (gifted education). I was a teacher for forty-five years—every grade from kindergarten through graduate school—and I loved it with all my heart!
I’ve walked through deep darkness in my life, and I’ve made it through. I’ve relied on hard-won courage to follow the path of my soul, unrelentingly. I invite you to not give up—no matter what! And I want to remind you that there is guidance, that there are guides who walk with us on our paths. We are not alone. And that art and color, writing and creating, and exploring can assist us in bringing reminders of joy into our lives!
My license plate says, YESSS.
